Thursday, August 22, 2019, 7:00 p.m.: Free Movie Night with Pasadena Audubon: A SPECIAL EVENT: Our CNPS chapter joins with Pasadena Audubon Society to present a joint movie night at Eaton Canyon Nature Center. We will screen a documentary by Dr. Doug Tallamy about the critical interaction between locally native plants and the birds that use them to live and raise their young. Bird populations have been falling dramatically, largely due to loss of habitat. Tallamy makes a call for people to make up some of the habitat loss in their own yards. His photography is amazing and his message is compelling.

We will begin at 7:00 p.m. Come enjoy yourselves and hear this important message for everyone, not just for lovers of birds and native plants. Bring your friends.

P.S. There will be free popcorn!
