SHORT NOTICE FIELD OUTING: Saturday, May 5, 2018, 9:00 a.m. to ~1 p.m.: Elysian Park, Los Angeles: Leader: Katie Galllagher. Grade: Easy

Katie is working on a mini-flora of Elysian Park and she has opened her walks to CNPS members and friends. Elysian Park is an often neglected patch of remnant open space where many thousands of people pass by every day on the adjacent freeways. Katie's goal for this flora is to document all of the plants growing in the natural areas of Elysian Park.

Meet 9:00 a.m. in the parking lot just outside of Grace E. Simons Lodge, 1025 Elysian Park Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Ample parking is usually available. Bring water and lunch. You can recognize Katie because she'll be wearing a large straw hat. Note: No restrooms available on this outing.
