Student awards for attending CNPS 2022 Conference

The California Native Plant Society's 2022 Conference takes place in San Jose, CA, on October 20-22.

If you are a student, you may qualify for an award from our CNPS chapter to assist financially in attending the conference. Click here for details.

Every three years, the CNPS Conference brings together plant lovers and professionals across disciplines to share knowledge, cultivate community, and inspire change on behalf of California's extraordinary native plants. This year, the conference explores an essential topic: How do we restore our connection to plants, places, and people? To address this fundamental question, the CNPS Conference will uplift Indigenous perspectives, lower barriers for participation, and nourish the diversity of disciplines in California's native plant community.

This year, more than 300 presenters will share an inspiring collection of ideas and research across four tracks: horticulture, conservation, education, and plant science. In addition, the Tuesday and Wednesday before the Thursday-Saturday conference will include on-site educational workshops and field trips to botanical hotspots. We invite you to be part of the converstaion and the fun!

The conference will be held at the Double Tree by Hilton in San Jose.
