You are invited to become a member of the CNPS, whether your interests are amateur or professional. Our members cover a wide range of interests to do with our native flora, from general interest to conservation, gardening, field trips, and other activities.
As a member, besides participation in meetings and field trips, you will receive our Chapter's newsletter, The Paintbrush, the informative quarterly journal Fremontia, and the news Bulletin.
CNPS is a statewide organization, and has an office in Sacramento. Membership is handled through that office. When you join, you are assigned to the chapter closest to your address. Alternatively, you can specify a particular chapter. Our chapter serves a range of cities and communities adjacent to the San Gabriel Mountains, from Claremont to Pasadena and beyond in both directions, centered on the area known as the San Gabriel Valley (although that term can be used to include places either side of the San Gabriel River valley per se.) However, we also have members from adjacent areas such as Santa Clarita.
To become a member, please visit the CNPS statewide membership page. There you can either print a membership application and mail it in with a check, or join on-line using your credit card.
