Stoneview Nature Center volunteers needed to plant 1,500 plants: The new Stoneview Nature Center in the heart of Los Angeles — a five-acre parkland project in Baldwin Hills — opens to the public on April 8, 2017. Before opening day, volunteers are needed to help plant 1,500 plants on Thursday March 16, Friday March 17, Saturday March 18, Monday March 20, and Tuesday March 21.
