Mountain Plant Walks at Chilao, in the Angeles National Forest, San Gabriel Mountains:
These walks came to a close in August 2008 after a year of monthly outings. Thank you to Jane Strong for organizing this instructive and enjoyable series in the Chilao area.

PLANT SALES
Our 2008 Plant Sale — Under the Oaks VIII
November 15, 2008, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Eaton Canyon Nature Center
. . . followed one week later by our free Native Gardening Workshop
November 22, 2008, 3 p.m., in the Becky Rothenburg Memorial Garden at Eaton Canyon Nature Center. This will be a demonstration of how to plant natives, and attendees will be given first-hand experience. Gloves and Tools will be provided by the Nature Center. The workshop will be run by Gabi and Cliff McLean.
